Having Trouble Viewing the Photos?
If you click on a link to an album and get taken to the PhotoWorks Login Screen - that's a problem.
For some reason your browser is not getting the complete "URL" or website address from my link.
SOLUTION 1:
If you are using the Mozilla Firefox browser, you need to:
1. "Right click" on the link
2. Select "Open Link in New Window".
3. The album page should open in a browser window.
SOLUTION 2:
If solution 1 doesn't work, or you are using a browser other than Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, try following this cumbersome way to get to the album page.
The cumbersome way to view pictures:
1. Right click on one of the links to a picture album (say the 03/11/07 (Sun) - ASU vs Fairleigh Dickinson game).
2. A menu box window should open up on your screen.
3. Left click on the "Properties" option.
4. A Properties window should open up on your screen.
5. Look for the lines of information titled: "Address (URL)".
The line will look like this: http://www.photoworks.com/share/shareLanding.jsp?shareCode=A668A73C349&cb=PW
6. Highlite the entire two lines of link information.
7. Right click on the highlited information.
8. A small menu box window will open up on your screen.
9. Left click on "copy".
10. Open another browser window.
11. Highlite the the URL address in the URL box at the top of the browser.
12. Right click on the highlited URL address.
13. A small menu box window will open up on your screen.
14. Left click on "paste". The URL from the properties box should now appear in the URL box.
15. Press the enter key to have the browser take you to the PhotoWorks album.
16. You should see a "Launch Slide Show" button next to the first picture.
17. Left click on the "Launch Slide Show" button to have the pictures appear in another window.
I know the 17 steps are cumbersome, but at least it will enable you to view the pictures.
Once I figure out why this problem is happening to some people I'll post the fix.
Until then, you'll have to use this 17 step procedure to see the pictures - Sorry! :-(
